Build Your AI Recipe Box and Check the Results

Build reusable requests, compare tools by task, and learn to catch confident mistakes.

Find your fit

Start where you are.

Who it is for

Regular AI users who want a reliable practice routine and stronger checking habits.

Starting skills

Level 2 skills; comfortable drafting and revising in a chat tool.

Proposed format: 2 × 90-minute sessions
What you will practice

Clear goals. Useful skills.

  1. Use role, task, background, and output format to structure a request.
  2. Verify factual claims against independent sources.
  3. Build a recipe box of at least 10 tested requests and a manageable daily routine.

Hands-on exercise

Build a 10-request recipe box across drafting, summaries, planning, explanation, and review. Compare an AI answer containing a deliberately seeded error with supplied reliable source material.

Proposed session plan

Learn, try, reflect.

Session 1
  • review — 10 minutes
  • request recipe demonstration — 15
  • compare task fit using facilitator-selected tools — 20
  • build and test five requests — 35
  • choose practice tasks — 10
Session 2
  • review practice — 10 minutes
  • check a seeded incorrect answer against supplied sources — 25
  • refine and test five more requests — 30
  • design a daily routine — 15
  • portfolio review — 10
Make progress visible

Practice that earns
your confidence.

Each saved request has a purpose, example result, and review note. The learner locates the seeded error using source evidence.

Feedback and another try are part of learning. Attendance alone does not establish the level.

Between-class practice

Use the routine for one week, recording usefulness, revisions, and errors. Finish any request tests not completed in class.

Materials and access

Recipe-box worksheet, task-fit comparison sheet, source pack, and a deliberately flawed sample answer.

Account and tool requirements will be confirmed before enrollment. Labs use fictional or approved material.
